About Me

My Life on
Peaks and Puzzles

Hey there, I'm Shubhra, your friendly neighborhood scientist and certified Himalayan cat whisperer!
By day, I'm out there in the rugged terrain, channeling my inner geographer and geologist vibes, decoding the dramatic tales of floods, landscapes, and the enigmatic landforms of glaciers in the mighty Himalayas.

Raised in the lap of the Himalayas, I developed an early love for nature. Frolicking in the mountain breeze and chasing butterflies fueled my curiosity. Now, as a mountain researcher, I'm still that wide-eyed mountain lover, only with a Ph.D. and a deep appreciation for the secrets these peaks hold.

When I'm not elbow-deep in rock samples, I'm donning my cat mom cape. Yep, born and raised in these majestic mountains, I've got a fur brigade at home – my adorable Himalayan cats.

From decoding the mysteries of sedimentary layers to deciphering the subtle nuances of feline meows, my life is a rollercoaster of science and cat chaos. So, whether I'm measuring the depth of a riverbed or managing the chaos of a playful cat crew, I'm here, embracing the wild ride that comes with being a Himalayan scientist and a cat mom extraordinaire. Who says you can't conquer glaciers and catnip-induced madness with equal flair?
